Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Technical Security Consultant for H&PS to join a flexible UK-based team with client travel. The role involves leading security architecture across projects, guiding secure design, and advising on cloud and enterprise security controls.

The candidate will drive threat modelling, risk assessments and vulnerability reviews while mentoring security practitioners. A dynamic environment offers on-the-job learning and a broad client base.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in security architecture, security engineering, cloud and network security.
• Strong knowledge of modern cyber threats and attack techniques.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts into business-focused recommendations.
• Experience leading security reviews and threat modelling.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior Security Architect and technical authority across a portfolio of projects.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance on secure design principles.
• Assess and advise on cloud, network, infrastructure and application security controls.
• Review complex technical solutions and ensure alignment with security and business requirements.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide oversight for security testing and penetration testing activities.
• Coach and mentor security practitioners to improve outputs.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to communicate risk and recommendations.
