Job summary

La Fosse is recruiting a Senior Security Analyst / Security Engineer for a hands-on role within a small security team in the financial services sector. You will blend Security Operations, Detection Engineering and Incident Response to strengthen cyber defences and improve detections.

You will drive automation, contribute to threat intel initiatives, and help reduce alert fatigue while shaping the security operations program from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience across Security Operations, Detection Engineering, and Incident Response.
• Hands-on security operations with a focus on improving detections and reducing alert fatigue.
• Interest in automation, SOAR, threat intelligence and broader security engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Security Operations within a small, collaborative team.
• Develop and refine detections to reduce alert fatigue and improve response times.
• Lead incident response activities and contribute to detection engineering efforts.
• Drive automation and security tooling initiatives across the function.
