Qualifications

• PhD, or MSc with industrial experience, in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, materials science, spectroscopy or a related discipline.
• Deep expertise in molecular-level characterisation of complex pharmaceutical materials and their relation to performance.
• Broad hands-on solid-state characterisation with data integration for mechanistic understanding.
• Understanding of how attributes influence developability, stability, dissolution and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Lead solid-state science activities across drug product projects, focusing on amorphous and disordered systems.
• Define molecularly driven material attributes and their impact on product robustness.
• Design and conduct laboratory experiments to assess solid-state risks and interactions.
• Translate mechanistic insights into practical control strategies for scale-up and manufacturing.
• Apply digital tools and in silico approaches to accelerate development decisions.
