Job summary
PlantSea Ltd. seeks an experienced Scientist or Senior Scientist in polymer formulation and product development to drive the next generation of sustainable materials.
You will translate scientific understanding into commercially relevant products by developing and optimizing bio-based polymer systems for scale‑up and manufacturing. You will design experiments, deliver robust technical recommendations, and work closely with the CTO and R&D team to overcome formulation challenges and meet customer
Qualifications
- PhD or MSc with substantial industrial polymer science experience.
- Hands-on experience developing bio-based polymer formulations or coatings.
- Proven ability to design and run structured experimental programmes.
- Strong knowledge of polymer structure–property relationships.
- Experience translating science into commercially viable products.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experimental programmes aligned with project objectives.
- Apply Design of Experiments (DoE) and rigorous methodology.
- Lead technical work packages across R&D programmes.
- Translate scientific findings into actionable product and process recommendations.
- Collaborate with CTO, Lab Ops, and manufacturing partners to accelerate development.
- Contribute to technical documentation and IP-related activities.
