Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Scientific Manager to provide senior operational management and coordination across a multidisciplinary imaging and AI research portfolio. You will work with AI Imaging Hub Directors and the Head of Investigator Initiated Trials to support study set-up, delivery, governance and financial oversight.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in research management or trial delivery in clinical or academic settings,

Qualifications

Experience of research management, trial management or operational delivery in clinical/scientific/academic environments
Experience with portfolio, budget and reporting responsibilities
Line management experience and multidisciplinary collaboration
Knowledge of clinical research governance and regulatory requirements
Experience in imaging, radiology, nuclear medicine or AI-enabled research advantageous

Responsibilities

Support Directors in the operational management and coordination of the Radiology Research Group and Artificial Intelligence Imaging Hub.
Coordinate people, processes and partnerships to deliver imaging and AI research priorities.
Support the safe translation of digital tools for patient benefit.
Coordinate staff induction, development, recruitment and retention within workforce plans and delegated authority.
