Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/CBT Therapist to join the MHST South team. The role supports children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs within education settings and across bases in 3Rivers, Hertsmere and Watford.

You will assess, plan, supervise and provide CBT-informed interventions, developing into a senior clinician while coordinating with EMHPs, SWPs and assistant psychologists.

Qualifications

• Triage and provide psychological assessment and interventions for children and young people in educational settings.
• Willingness to complete a Postgraduate Certification in Supervision (if not already held).
• Undertake risk assessment and apply risk management within safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Triage and provide psychological assessment and interventions for children and young people in educational settings.
• Provide specialist psychological supervision and consultation to EMHPs, SWPs and other staff as appropriate.
• Undertake risk assessment and maintain risk management with safeguarding protocols.
• Offer consultation on mental health issues to teachers and family workers in schools.
• Deliver educational workshops, assemblies and PSHE sessions to promote emotional wellbeing and resilience.
