The expertise within the team ranges across underwriting, sales and operations. We have large ambitions in this space, but these ambitions come in hand with dedicated focus to make them a reality.
We have an exciting brand‑new opportunity for a Senior Underwriter – Medical Malpractice to join the Markel UK team. This role will report into the Schemes Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting new business and renewal cases, much of which will be associated to delegated portfolios and will be Medical Malpractice business. It is important that this individual wants to be part of a team and enjoys developing portfolios of business. This is a hybrid working role and can be based from any of our UK offices across Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham or London – we are very flexible on location for the right candidate!
