Job summary

mthree seeks an engineering leader to scale a strategic Post Trade Data Platform for a tier-one global bank. You will drive architecture and strategy, mentor teams, and deliver resilient data solutions across London, New York, and India.

You will work within a cross-functional engineering and architecture group, owning code quality and platform capabilities while guiding modern software design and agile practices in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in JVM languages (Scala/Java) and performance tuning.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms and databases.
• Strong cloud/DevOps knowledge (Linux, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Ansible).
• Practical experience with reactive, event-sourced architectures and Spark/Flink.

Responsibilities

• Build the Strategic Platform and scale ingestion and resilience.
• Own architecture and strategy to support Operations and the business.
• Provide technical leadership via design reviews and coding standards.
• Mentor engineers and drive continuous platform improvement.
