Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Scala Engineer to join the AttRep Team in London. You will design and deliver backend APIs for Attribute Reputation services used in fraud detection, with a focus on high availability, low latency, and secure data handling.

The role requires SC clearance, experience with Scala, Play or MVC frameworks, SQL, AWS, CI, and agile practices. Hybrid London location; rate up to £637 per day (Umbrella only) for a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape how AttRep services are delivered as APIs for fraudulent data insights.
• Design future vision for Att Rep services, including consolidation for consistency.
• Deliver high-volume, high-availability, low-latency backend services.
• Improve existing services and reduce maintenance through re-architecture.
• Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and CIP teams on software solutions.
