Job summary

Synergize Consulting Limited is seeking a Contracts Manager for Aerospace & Defence in the UK, with current SC clearance. Based at Luton HQ with 2 days on-site per week, the role covers both UK and international contracts, supporting existing work and new opportunities.

Qualifications

• SC clearance currently held.
• Experience negotiating and managing UK government contracts and international contracts.
• Ability to influence at senior levels and drive commercial outcomes.
• Strong understanding of business finance: P&L, margin, mark-up, escalation, FX.
• Knowledge of export legislation, import taxes and duties.
• Strong contract law knowledge and practical application.
• Ability to identify commercial risks and develop mitigations.
• Willingness to travel to UK sites and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical commercial oversight across multiple contracts and bid activities.
• Draft, negotiate and administer complex contractual terms and conditions with Procurement involvement.
• Develop and present clear commercial strategies for best outcomes.
• Develop accurate customer pricing using appropriate strategies and models.
• Lead preparation of commercial correspondence and obtain required approvals.
• Draft and review commercial agreements including NDAs, licensing and MOUs.
• Provide commercial leadership across projects and programmes.
• Manage contractual change and monitor performance against obligations.
• Prepare customer proposals and internal bid documentation.
• Ensure compliance with commercial processes, policies and governance.
