Job summary

The Config Team, a leading SAP Supply Chain consultancy, seeks a Senior SAP Project Manager to lead large-scale SAP ERP and S/4HANA transformations across multiple industries. You will drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality objectives are met while coordinating with customers, consultants, and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multiple SAP or large-scale digital transformation projects with end-to-end accountability.
• Strong experience delivering SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA projects within Supply Chain environments.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stream programmes involving business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, forecasts, risks, and contractual obligations.
• Experience working within dynamic, matrixed organisations and managing cross-functional project teams.
• Strong understanding of project governance, delivery methodologies, stakeholder management, and change control processes.
• Experience using SAP Activate methodology; SAP Activate certification is advantageous.
• Pre-sales involvement including RFP responses, quotations, SoW, customer assessments, and solution evaluations.
• Team leadership experience including mentoring or line management.
• Proficiency with project management tools including Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence.
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident presenting to senior leadership and customer stakeholders.
• Desirable: PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, AgilePM, or equivalent qualifications.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of complex SAP, The Config Team software products, and digital transformation projects.
• Collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide governance and commercial oversight across multiple workstreams.
• Shape and develop The Config Team's project management capability and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage in pre-sales activities and contribute to solution evaluations.
