Job summary

Ampstek seeks a Senior SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect to bridge business strategy and technical execution for our Wales operations.

You will champion a Clean Core architecture, leverage SAP BTP and CPI, and design a business-focused target-state blueprint for our aviation engine overhaul and MRO environment.

Work with senior leadership to deliver value-driven SAP architectures across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production and Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10+ years of SAP architecture and business consulting experience in large enterprise settings.
• Experience owning or contributing to an SAP blueprint or fit-gap design exercise.
• ERP lifecycle mastery with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong communication with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Aviation/MRO context experience preferred.
• Strategic use of SAP BTP and CPI for integrations.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end target business architecture and long-term blueprints for hybrid cloud and on-premises landscapes.
• Review current systems to reduce technical debt and integrate compatible components.
• Map migration strategies and coexistence between ECC and S/4HANA.
• Champion standard-first governance to minimize core modifications and simplify upgrades.
• Lead decoupled agile sprints for frontend and backend work using SAP BTP and Fiori elements.
• Engage with site leadership to validate designs against daily operations.
