Zusammenfassung

bp is seeking a SAP Platform Lead (Staff Enterprise Technology Engineer) to own strategy, engineering, delivery and operation of bp’s SAP platform estate across on‑prem, private cloud, public cloud and SaaS. You will provide deep SAP technical leadership with portfolio ownership and executive engagement.

The role covers SAP S4 HANA, on‑prem ECCs & BWs, S4 Public, SAP BTP and Joule, with emphasis on integration, data and analytics platforms, and lifecycle management in a global setting.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience leading SAP platform engineering in a large, global enterprise.
• Strong hands-on background in SAP technologies (Basis, architecture) with ability to dive into technical detail.
• Experience designing and modernising SAP workloads across public/private/on-premise clouds.
• Proven track record managing budgets, licenses, supplier performance and risk.

Aufgaben

• Lead SAP platform strategy, engineering, delivery and operations across on‑prem, private cloud, public cloud and SaaS.
• Drive adoption of SAP S4/HANA, S4 RI SE, BTP and Joule in line with transformation goals.
• Ensure high availability, security, compliance and optimal customer experience for bp’s SAP estate.
• Manage budgets, licensing, supplier governance and vendor engagement for measurable value.
• Develop and mentor a global SAP Platforms organisation with clear accountability and succession planning.
