A leading offshore services company is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for a critical role in the offshore wind sector. The candidate will ensure electrical safety and deliver isolations under client Electrical Safety Rules. Essential qualifications include offshore wind experience, 66kV authorisation, and full GWO certifications. The position involves supervising safe work practices and supporting high voltage system operations. This contract role offers a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation.

Formación

• Must have experience in the offshore wind sector as a Senior Authorised Person (SAP).
• Should possess comprehensive GWO certifications: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
• Holding a valid offshore medical certificate including Chester Step and HUET is required.

Responsabilidades

• Act as SAP, reporting to the Lead SAP, ensuring safe working practices.
• Produce and review switching schedules.
• Carry out isolations, earthing, and issue safety documents.
• Support testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.

Conocimientos

Offshore windfarm experience

Knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules

Educación

ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
