Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Senior SAP Developer to lead development, configuration and ongoing support of SAP solutions across our defence, aerospace and engineering operations. You will deliver SAP projects using established governance, ensuring solutions are tested and well-documented.

The role requires a strong SAP background with hands-on experience in OData, CDS, ABAP, WebDynPro, Workflow, Fiori and UI5, plus knowledge across SAP modules. Hybrid UK-based with some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Senior SAP Developer with strong SAP background in implementation and support.
• Experience with OData, CDS, ABAP, WebDynPro, Workflow, Fiori and UI5.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP BTP is highly beneficial.
• Broader SAP knowledge across FI, HCM, SCM, PM, PP, PS, MM, IM and WM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist-level development, configuration and support for SAP solutions within SLAs.
• Create and implement SAP solutions for projects using established standards and governance.
• Ensure development work is tested and documented to a high standard; update technical documentation.
• Identify emerging SAP standards and best practices for SAP services.
• Role offers hybrid working with occasional travel.
