Job summary

Elsevier in London is seeking a Salesforce Senior Developer to lead design and development of scalable Salesforce solutions across the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust applications and data workflows.

The role emphasizes best practices, code reviews, and phased delivery to minimize disruption while delivering value. You will mentor colleagues, support integrations, and help shape the Salesforce strategy in a globally

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field.
6+ years of previous development experience with Salesforce.
Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant certification (preferred)
Development experience with Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud and Conga CLM (preferred)
DevOps experience with Copado, Gearset (preferred)
Experience with MuleSoft or similar enterprise integration platforms (preferred)

Responsibilities

Act as CRM trusted advisor through requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Estimate work efforts and own design, development, and implementation.
Provide product and technical expertise for complex projects and integrations.
Review code and solutions to ensure best practices and fit-for-purpose development.
Handle integration monitoring and future integration requirements.
Document knowledge and reference architectures; share best practices.
Apply advanced Salesforce principles and innovate for business goals.
Work under consultative direction toward long-range goals.
