Job summary

Recognise Bank is seeking a skilled Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable Salesforce and nCino solutions aligned with business goals. You will lead integrations, governance, and automation while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality platform enhancements.

Ideal candidates will have strong Apex, Flows, and integration experience, plus a passion for secure, well-governed cloud platforms in a regulated banking context.

• Experience delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions in complex environments.
• Experience designing Salesforce integrations with internal/ external systems.
• Experience building Apex classes, triggers, and Flows.
• Experience with source control and modern development practices.

Responsibilities

• Own design and delivery of Salesforce solutions meeting business needs.
• Lead development and support of Salesforce functionality using declarative and programmatic approaches.
• Deliver integrations between Salesforce, nCino, and other systems.
• Establish and embed development standards, testing approaches, and release processes.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Review and optimize Salesforce/nCino configurations and drive improvements.
• Monitor platform health and drive root-cause resolution of incidents.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and security requirements.

About the role

Develop, enhance, and support the Bank's Salesforce andnCinoplatforms, delivering scalable,secureand reliable solutionsthat support lending, customer servicing, operational efficiency, and business growth. Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party providers to implementhigh-qualityplatform enhancements, integrations, and automation while adhering to Salesforce development best practices,governance standards,and the Bank's strategicobjectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements whilstmaintainingplatform stability, scalability, and performance.
• Lead the development, enhancement, and support of Salesforce functionality using declarative and programmatic approaches, including Flows, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning components whererequired.
• Deliver robust integrations between Salesforce,nCino, and internal or third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and integration best practices.
• Establish and embed Salesforce development standards, coding practices, testing approaches, and release management processes.
• Develop andmaintainautomated tests and deployment processes to ensure solution quality, reliability, and compliance with change management requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and operational teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Review and optimise existing Salesforce andnCinoconfigurations,identifyingopportunities to improve automation, user experience, platform performance, and technical debt.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive root-cause resolution of production incidents.
• Partner with technology and security teams to ensure Salesforce solutionscomply withregulatory, governance, data protection, and security requirements.
• Mentor and support colleagues by sharing Salesforceexpertise, promoting best practices, and contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Degree, professional qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience in a technology-related discipline.
• Salesforce Administrator certification
• Proven experience developing and supporting enterprise Salesforce solutions in a complex business environment.
• Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems.
• Experience building andmaintainingApex classes, triggers, test classes, and Salesforce Flows.
• Experience working within structured software development and change management processes.
• Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex platform and integration issues.
• Strong Salesforce platform knowledge, including Sales Cloud and platform automation capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Flows, validation rules, security model, profiles, permission sets, and sharing architecture.
• Strong Apex development skills, including classes, triggers, asynchronous processing, and test automation.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, REST APIs, web services, authentication mechanisms, and data synchronisation approaches.
• Understanding of Salesforce data modelling, data quality management, and platform governance.
• Familiarity with source control management tools such as Gitand code editors likeVSCode.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles including code quality, testing, documentation, and secure development practices.
• Ability to apply Salesforce practices when designing and implementing solutions.

Desirable:

• Salesforce Platform DeveloperI/II certifications.
• Additional Salesforce certifications relevant to architecture, integration, or application development.
• nCinocertifications or formalnCinotraining.
• Experience working with the Nino Bank Operating System.
• Experience within banking, financial services, lending, or regulated environments.

• Experience with AutoRabitpreferable, Gearset or Copado are similar.
• Experience within a regulated financial services environment
