Job summary

Gen25 is actively seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our London delivery team. You will lead technical design, build and deployment of complex Salesforce solutions across multi-cloud environments, leveraging Apex, LWC, and robust integrations.

You will mentor junior engineers, set development standards, and drive high-quality delivery with strong client-facing acumen. This role requires 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience and UK eligibility, in a fast-paced consulting setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a consultancy or fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Deep expertise in Apex and JavaScript (ES6+), with strong roots in Object-Oriented Programming (such as Python, Java or C#) an advantage.
• Extensive hands-on experience building modern UI components with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura.
• Proven track record of designing and executing complex API integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON).
• Proficient with Git-based version control, SFDX, metadata deployment pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (>85% code coverage).
• Must hold Salesforce Platform Developer I (Platform Developer II strongly preferred) and other relevant certifications.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, estimate project effort, and mentor peers.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Technical Architecture & Development: Design and build end-to-end, scalable custom solutions using Apex, LWC, Flow, and complex SOQL/SOSL queries.
• Integrations & Middleware: Architect and implement secure REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and custom callouts to integrate Salesforce with third‑party systems.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous peer code reviews, enforce coding standards and security best practices, and promote best practices amongst the team.
• DevOps & Release Management: Drive modern Application Lifecycle Management using Git, Salesforce DX (SFDX), and CI/CD deployment pipelines across multi-tier sandbox topologies.
• Solution Strategy: Balance declarative and programmatic approaches, ensuring performant, maintainable solutions aligned with platform capabilities.
• Client Engagement: Participate in workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution demos, translating technical concepts for stakeholders.

At Gen25 we're looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer (5+ years of hands-on development experience) to play a lead role in our London delivery team.

In this role, you will lead the technical design, build, and deployment of complex Salesforce solutions across multi-cloud environments. You will combine deep technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and system integrations with strong client-facing acumen and team leadership. Working alongside Architects and Consultants, you will help set development standards, mentor junior team members, and ensure high-quality delivery across demanding client projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Architecture & Development: Design and build end-to-end, scalable custom solutions using Apex (applying enterprise design patterns), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and complex SOQL/SOSL queries.

• DevOps & Release Management: Drive modern Application Lifecycle Management using Git, Salesforce DX (SFDX), and CI/CD deployment pipelines across multi-tier sandbox topologies.
• Solution Strategy: Evaluate client requirements to balance declarative ("clicks") and programmatic ("code") approaches, ensuring solutions are performant, maintainable, and aligned with standard platform capabilities.
• Client Engagement: Participate in client workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution demos, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language for stakeholders.

Requirements & Prerequisites

Essential

• Experience: 5+ years of hands‑on technical development experience on the Salesforce platform, ideally within a consultancy or fast‑paced enterprise environment.
• Programming Core: Deep expertise in Apex and JavaScript (ES6+), with strong roots in Object‑Oriented Programming (such as Python, Java or C#) an advantage.
• Front‑End & UI: Extensive hands‑on experience building modern UI components with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura.
• Integrations: Proven track record of designing and executing complex API integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, Event‑Driven Architectures).
• DevOps & Tooling: Proficient with Git‑based version control, SFDX, metadata deployment pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (>85% code coverage standards).
• Certifications: Must hold Salesforce Platform Developer I (Platform Developer II strongly preferred) and other relevant certifications.
• Communication & Leadership: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, estimate project effort, and mentor peers.
• Right to Work: Eligibility to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Advanced Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, Integration Architect, or Application Architect credentials.
