Overview

This long standing and well respected local company is looking for someone with excellent retail experience for a Senior Sales Consultant role in a high profile environment. If you'd like to work for a stable and successful business where people really feel valued then this could be just what you're looking for. The role includes a salary of up to £27,500 and a bonus scheme to allow you to earn up to £33,000, profit share, a pension and free onsite parking with excellent transport links.

What will you be doing as a Senior Sales Assistant?

Working as part of a small professional sales team, you will be assisting in the running of the showroom. Duties will include:

• Acting as one of the senior members of the team ,ensuring the smooth day to day running of the showroom in the absence of the Head of Sales
• Providing high level customer service and product guidance to customers
• Offering advice and answering queries to guide customers in their choice
• Working through a customer sale from initial enquiry to closing of the sale
• Answering incoming calls and emails and assisting with customer queries and requests for documentation
• Dealing with all email enquiries and responding in a professional manner
• Processing and updating customer orders on the computer system
• The role will involve some negotiation with customers
• Ensuring the showroom is presentable at all times

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• A strong background in a similar retail customer service or showroom environment dealing with customers face to face or possibly within a similar face to face role such as estate agency
• Experience of working with high value or premium products such as jewellery, furniture or electrical goods
• Good administration skills
• Comfortable using Word, Excel and email and be able to compose articulate written responses to customers
• Excellent customer care skills, with a calm, attentive and polite approach when dealing with customers and have a sales through service approach
• A stable career history is essential
• Proactive
