Leaders in Care is seeking a Safeguarding Social Worker in Merseyside. This role offers manageable caseloads, a long-term safeguarding focus, and flexible hybrid working to support high-quality practice.

You will build meaningful relationships with families, work with multi-agency partners, and focus on long-term outcomes rather than short-term demand. A collaborative team and ongoing development support your practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with safeguarding or child protection experience.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in long-term statutory children’s services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Child in Need and Child Protection cases.
• Deliver long-term family support to improve outcomes and stability.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners to safeguard children.
• Contribute to assessments and care planning with proportionate intervention.
