Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking an Experienced Children's Senior Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team in the London Area. You will work on safeguarding, child protection and public law matters, with complex casework and direct work with children and families.

You must have a Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) and at least three years post-qualification experience with an English local authority. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
• Minimum three years post-qualifying experience with an English local authority.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex safeguarding cases, undertake assessments, home visits and direct work with children.
• Lead care planning, attend meetings and ensure accurate case recording.
• Supervise other safeguarding staff and contribute to team quality and mentorship.
• Manage Public Law Outline and Care Proceedings until final order and permanency plan.
