Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner in Safeguarding to join our dedicated social work team. You will lead complex safeguarding assessments, provide expert guidance, and ensure best practices across multi-agency safeguarding teams.

The role requires a recognized social work qualification, Social Work England registration, substantial safeguarding experience, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Substantial safeguarding and child protection experience in a social work setting.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills; ability to manage complex cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored safeguarding plans for individuals at risk.
• Provide expert guidance and supervision to social work practitioners, ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to coordinate effective interventions and support services.
• Lead case reviews and contribute to the development of safeguarding training programs.
• Stay informed about legislative changes and best practices in safeguarding to enhance service delivery.
