Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Deputy Designated Lead/Nurse for Safeguarding Adults to provide clinical leadership, expert advice and support on safeguarding matters across the ICB Boards, commissioners and practitioners.

You will work with designated professionals across commissioning, health providers, social care and independent contractors to develop joint systems for communication and the delivery of safeguarding services.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and expert advice on safeguarding to ICB Boards, commissioners and practitioners across the system.
• Develop joint safeguarding communication systems with commissioning, health providers, social care, and independent contractors.
• Promote and ensure best practice for Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards within safeguarding governance.
• Support the Prevent Duty and Channel Panel processes across the health economy.
