Job summary

James & Partners in Ipswich is seeking a Senior Rural Surveyor / Associate Director to take ownership of a broad rural portfolio and mentor junior staff. The role offers responsibility, autonomy and progression into leadership within an independent practice.

The successful candidate will have MRICS or equivalent experience, strong client skills and the ability to manage complex instructions. Relocation support is provided as part of an attractive package.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification or equivalent experience in rural surveying.
• Proven track record in rural/general practice surveying.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to mentor junior colleagues and graduates.

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide range of rural professional work across this portfolio.
• Support and mentor junior surveyors, graduates and apprentices.
• Maintain client relationships and deliver projects on time.
• Contribute to growth and strategy of a dynamic practice.
