James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our clinical pharmacy team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave in Gorleston. This role offers opportunities to develop clinical skills, mentorship, and leadership experience within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will have MPharm or equivalent, GPhC registration, and willingness to train in hospital pharmacy practices.
Do you work in another sector and wonder what hospital pharmacy entails? Do you want to join a friendly, forward-thinking team committed to providing the best possible medicines care? Are you looking for a flexible opportunity to fit in to your schedule and looking to strike a good work/life balance? We are looking for organised, motivated and experienced pharmacists to join our clinical pharmacy team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. This role will allow you to build on clinical skills which you may have developed in a rotational role or other sector of pharmacy practice, while additionally building mentorship and leadership experience. The successful candidate will be a pharmacist with excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of the pharmacy team and the wider multidisciplinary team. A thirst to further yourself and take advantage of the learning opportunities available will be advantageous. Experience working within a hospital pharmacy setting in an NHS Trust would be beneficial but not essential, as training and support can be provided for the right candidate.
As a teaching hospital, we are part of the University of East Anglia Medical School and have good links with the University of East Anglia School of Pharmacy.
