Job summary

Amazon Uk Services Ltd. - A10 is seeking a Senior Manager for Robotics Delivery, Packaging Innovation to define deployable robotics across our global network.

You will lead the Design for Deployment strategy, guide cross-functional teams, and drive measurable improvements in deployment duration and cost per unit. This founding role requires deep experience in hardware/mechatronic deployment, executive communication, and the ability to work across Europe with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or STEM.
• Experience mentoring the engineering community on complex technical issues.
• Experience in technical program management in hardware/mechatronic development or deployment engineering.
• Technical depth in mechanical, electrical, controls, and mechatronic designs.
• Experience defining and owning deployment-readiness strategies.
• Experience determining feasibility of infrastructure builds at scale for technical products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as DfD technical authority; overview drawings and designs to embed deployment requirements.
• Drive technically complex DfD programs; assess infrastructure feasibility at scale.
• Advise leadership on strategy, governance, and trade-offs; optimize cross-organizational structures.
• Coach deployment teams through design reviews and decision processes; mentor engineers.
• Define and own end-to-end DfD strategy across technology programs.
• Create mechanisms to deploy data-driven design influence; quantify deployment pain.
