A global engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Principal Road Safety Consultant to lead road safety projects and mentor junior staff in their Newcastle office. This role involves managing project deliveries and engaging in business development activities. The ideal candidate will hold an honours degree and have demonstrable experience in the road safety sector and auditing.
Mott MacDonald have ambitious plans to grow our road safety services in the UK and internationally. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Road Safety Consultant to support our growth and develop our team. This role can be based out of any one of our UK offices. This is an exciting senior role with the opportunity to develop and grow in our Road Safety Team and contribute to achieving a high performing shared enterprise with our partners. Your focus will be on delivering great work, supporting a high-performing team and helping to mentor the next generation of road safety consultants. You will be leading on a wide range of activities from road safety auditing, operational safety, delivery of iRAP projects and helping to grow our advisory offering around safety guidance, policy and research to our clients. Some of our most recent and ongoing projects include Lower Thames Crossing (Kent Roads), provision of road safety auditing to National Highways East Region and iRAP studies for NMWTRA in Wales and Transport for Greater Manchester.
