Due to increased demand across the Energy & Natural Resources sector, our North West team is expanding and looking to appoint experienced Risk Managers / Risk Leads to support a major nuclear programme.
This is an opportunity to join a high-profile, complex infrastructure programme at the forefront of industry transformation, working within a collaborative and growing delivery environment. We are keen to engage with individuals who bring strong project/programme risk expertise, particularly within regulated or capital-intensive industries. Candidates will be required to be on‑site 3 days per week in West Burton.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Senior Risk Manager / Risk Lead will be responsible for the identification, assessment, and management of risks and assumptions across projects and programmes of varying scale and complexity. The role combines hands‑on delivery of risk management activities with a broader remit to support risk process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and integrated project controls. You will play a key role in ensuring risks are effectively understood, managed, and communicated to support successful delivery to time, cost, and quality objectives.

You have professional Risk Management experience in one or more sectors across the whole Project lifecycle. While nuclear experience is desirable it is not an absolute requirement. You have the ability to adjust risk strategies and process in response to change and have excellent communication skills to convey complex risk information to all stakeholders. You are conversant with risk management systems such as Safran, @risk, PRA. Strategic awareness and critical thinking are key, with the ability to confidently assess the implications of various risk scenarios.
