Churchill Howard Limited is supporting a leading UK financial services organisation with the appointment of a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager. This senior second-line risk position offers exposure to Executive and Board stakeholders, shaping the Group's enterprise risk approach and governance, with scope to influence strategic decision-making.

This role involves leading strategic risk identification, developing and evolving the risk framework, and preparing clear reporting for senior leadership

Qualifications

• Experience of enterprise risk, risk appetite and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into concise recommendations.
• Confidence engaging with senior executives and Board-level committees.
• Experience across strategic risk, regulatory requirements and risk reporting.
• Excellent influencing, communication and relationship-building skills.
• A relevant professional qualification in risk, finance, accounting or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Group's enterprise risk framework.

• Promote a positive risk culture through effective challenge and stakeholder engagement.

Churchill Howard is supporting a leading UK financial services organisation with the appointment of a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager.

This is a senior second-line risk position offering excellent exposure to Executive and Board stakeholders. You will help shape the Group's enterprise risk approach, strengthen governance and provide insight that supports strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Group's enterprise risk framework.
• Lead strategic risk identification, assessment and monitoring.
• Maintain and evolve the Group's risk appetite framework.
• Prepare clear, commercially focused reporting for senior leadership and Board committees.
• Assess emerging risks and undertake thematic reviews.

You'll bring strong enterprise risk experience, ideally gained within banking, financial services or another regulated environment.
