Job summary

The Travelers in London seeks a Senior Risk Management Consultant to join the Professions team. You will analyze claims data, advise insured firms on risk mitigation, and work with underwriters to address risk and regulatory issues.

The role involves presenting to clients, hosting risk seminars, and engaging with professional bodies. Hybrid work is available under our policy, with three days in the office and two days at home.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of risk management processes.
• Experience advising clients on risk and regulatory issues.
• Ability to engage with underwriters and brokers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports and develops the Travelers value added risk management proposition across the Professions portfolio.
• Advises customers on risk management issues, by responding to information and advice requests.
• Coordinates visit requests from underwriters for high premium cases to inform risk offerings.
• Visits client firms and prepares reports on current risk exposure and claims history.
• Researches and prepares materials for internal and external publications (Gazette, solicitor's bulletin).
• Develops and presents risk seminars for clients or professional bodies.
• Prepares risk management factsheets and best practice guides.
• Assists underwriters with advice on legal or professional practice issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
