Job summary

ICE Clear Europe is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to support the Clearing Risk Department in shaping risk management practices across multiple asset classes. You will help calibrate models, enhance risk tools, and implement risk initiatives to benefit the business.

You will interact with senior management and clearing members, develop reporting for ICE Clear Europe boards and committees, and contribute to regulatory-aligned risk processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or other equivalent degrees.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance trade-offs.
• Prior experience in risk management as a risk analyst or relevant professional experience (at an investment bank, hedge fund or clearing house).
• Strong knowledge in financial derivatives products in multiple asset classes preferred.
• Experience applying risk management models and techniques such as VaR, liquidity risk, backtesting and stress testing.
• Ability to be a team player and to collaborate with other teams.
• Experience with SQL and Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mathematical/statistical analysis to calibrate and enhance risk models.
• Ensure the risk management framework and risk policies are adhered to and align with regulatory standards.
• Assist with identifying areas where risk models or processes can be improved.
• Enhance documentation of risk processes, procedures and models.
• Communicate with clearing members, risk committees and ICE senior management.
• Build and maintain risk management reports for ICE Clear Europe boards and committees.
• Monitor model performance and assess the appropriateness of models to demonstrate policy adherence.
• Collaborate with colleagues on policy and methodology development.
• Conduct project work and ad-hoc market research on risk topics.
