Job summary

Platform Recruitment in Saffron Walden is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to design, build and test RF-based systems for radios and radars. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to capture requirements and deliver high‑tech solutions, including microwave and analogue RF design, with a focus on performance and reliability in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years' post-graduate experience designing RF-based circuits for radios or radars.
• Strong skills in RF amplifier, filter, and frequency synthesiser design.
• Proven ability in microwave, RF, and analogue design and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test new RF-based systems from concept through to manufacture.
• Collaborate with a team of experts and work with technical and non-technical customers to establish requirements.
• Deliver high-tech solutions for diverse applications, including mobile ad-hoc radio networks and space-based radars.

My client solves the world's toughest engineering challenges in sensing and communications across healthcare, defence, and IoT markets — with a state-of-the-art lab and R&D facility where you'll work on highly technical, varied projects.
