Hexwired has partnered with a cutting edge R&D consultancy based in Cambridge, now looking for a senior RF design engineer to work on the firm’s next‑gen products.

This is a senior RF design engineer role that will play a key role in designing, building and testing new RF‑based systems and products. The role provides the opportunity to work with a team to follow exciting new ideas from concept into reality.

Key Skills

• Must be eligible for UK SC clearance
• Good MEng in electronic engineering (or similar discipline)
• 6+ years post‑graduate experience in designing RF‑based circuits (e.g. for radios and/or radars)
• Experience developing products and modules from concept through to successful design verification
• Good microwave, RF and analogue design and simulation skills (RF amplifier, filter and frequency synthesiser design)

Advantageous but not essential

• Radio and/or radar systems knowledge
• Team leadership and/or line management experience
• Digital circuit design skills
• Experience of mm‑wave frequency design
