RJS Resourcing Ltd is recruiting an experienced Responsible Individual to oversee a portfolio of children's homes. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, supporting Registered Managers to sustain high care standards and achieve positive Ofsted outcomes across services.

The role requires a proven track record in senior operational management within children's residential care, with a history of Good or Outstanding Ofsted judgments and strong safeguarding and governance expertise.

Formación

• Proven track record of managing children's residential services.
• Senior operational management or Responsible Individual experience.
• History of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted judgements.
• Experience turning around underperforming children's homes.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and SCCIF.
• Excellent safeguarding, governance and quality assurance knowledge.
• Ability to develop and support Registered Managers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership, supervision and operational guidance to Registered Managers.
• Maintain oversight of safeguarding, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure homes are prepared for Ofsted inspections and meet Statements of Purpose.
• Drive service improvement, including turning around underperforming homes.
• Oversee referrals, admissions, placement matching and stability.
• Monitor staffing, recruitment, rotas, budgets and performance.
• Support development and implementation of new residential services.
• Establish relationships with local authorities and external partners.
• Develop management teams through mentoring and performance development.
• Ensure services remain financially sustainable without compromising care quality.
