Qualifications

• Significant post registration experience in a specialty area and experience in either a junior specialty role or a team leader management role.
• Experience with managing patients relevant to a specialist area.
• Experience of working in pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Experience in integrated respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage high quality physiotherapy/nursing care to adult respiratory patients.
• Provide support and advice to doctors, nursing staff, and patients.
• Rotate through different specialisms and settings within the Integrated respiratory service.

Skills

Highly developed specialist knowledge of own patient group

Knowledge of research and audit

Ability to manage difficult situations effectively

Ability to compile complex written information

Education

Degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy or Nursing

State registration with the Health & Care Professions Council / NMC

Evidence of CPD through a maintained portfolio
