University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in Brighton invites applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Respiratory Same Day Emergency Care. The role is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, full time, within the Respiratory department at Royal Sussex County Hospital.

The post offers a stimulating environment in a modern building and strong multidisciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate will be GMC-registered, hold an ALS certification, and have completed UK foundation

Qualificações

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise.
• Advanced Life Support Certificate from the Resuscitation Council UK or equivalent.
• Completed foundation training in the UK or signed CREST form.
• Higher Degree.

Responsabilidades

• Assess respiratory patients in the SDEC by a multidisciplinary team.
• Arrange investigations (spirometry, thoracic imaging, ultrasound) and discuss results with the respiratory physician.
• Decide management plan; admit to inpatient care or discharge with follow‑up arrangements.
• Contribute to ambulatory care pathways and rapid diagnostic processes.
• Engage in teaching and participate in audits and clinical governance.
