Southend University Hospital NHS Trust in Basildon is seeking a Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our Critical Care, Respiratory and Cardiothoracic teams.

The role requires wide-ranging clinical experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

You will participate in an on-call rota and weekend work within a seven-day pattern, with experience in respiratory and critical care essential.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic physiotherapist with wide clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality patient-centred care.
• Experience in respiratory and critical care settings is essential.
• Willingness to join overnight on-call and weekend rotas.
• Part of a seven-day rota.

Responsabilités

• Physiotherapy intervention for CCU and acute respiratory ward patients.
• Assess respiratory outpatients as required.
• Prioritise referrals to ensure timely caseload management.
• Develop autonomous care plans and provide specialist advice.
