Devon and Cornwall Police is recruiting a Senior Resourcing Officer to join the Recruitment and Selection Team at Exeter or Winfrith. The role leads recruitment campaigns, promotions and postings, working with operational leaders and HR colleagues to attract, recruit and retain talent across police officers, staff, apprentices, special constables and volunteers.

Salary: Scale F : Starts at A GBP 34,662 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of A GBP 40,383 per annum

About The Role

We are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Resourcing Officers to join our Recruitment and Selection Team, based at either Devon and Cornwall Police Headquarters, Exeter, or Dorset Police Headquarters, Winfrith. We are recruiting for:

• one permanent position (37 hours per week*),
• one temporary maternity cover position until 30 November 2027 (37 hours per week*),
• a reserve pool for future vacancies anticipated during 2027.
• Please note we welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part:time basis, for example on a job share basis, and are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need.

As a Senior Resourcing Officer, you will provide professional advice and leadership across a range of recruitment and resourcing activities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure recruitment campaigns, promotions and postings are delivered effectively, efficiently and in line with best practice.

You will also support and develop members of the Resourcing team, helping to create a positive and high:performing environment.

The selection process
