Full-Time

40 hours per week

£29,392 - £32,792

12-hour shifts: Days & Waking Nights – 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am

You must be at least 23 years of age.

Driving Licence – Essential, manual, OR automatic

This 5 bed home provides extensive care and nurturing for children and young people aged 8-18 years old with a wide range of difficulties: Emotional behavioural disorder, mental health and learning disabilities.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of young people's developmental needs and safeguarding/child protection procedures.
  • Knowledge of social care services and experience working sensitively within a team.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, handle emotional situations and remain flexible.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate yourself and others.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager/Deputy with day-to-day operations and staff deployment.
  • Meet the needs of young people in line with individual care plans, ensuring their safety and welfare at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with families, social workers and external agencies.
  • Ensure all practice meets legislative and safeguarding standards.
  • Lead on staff inductions, supervisions and appraisals.
  • Support in implementing, reviewing and updating care plans.
  • Ensure administrative tasks are completed effectively and systems are maintained.
