Portman Recruitment is assisting a leading provider of specialist education and care in recruiting a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker for their Children’s Homes. You will support young people daily, help create positive experiences and memories, and mentor a caring staff team.

The role requires a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence. Salary is £36,231 to £40,640 per year, with potential sleep-ins and a strong benefits package

You'll play a key role in supporting young people on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the home runs smoothly while helping to create positive experiences and lasting memories.

As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll provide guidance and support to the staff team, helping to maintain high standards of care and deputising for Team Leaders when required. We're looking for someone who can build strong, trusting relationships with young people and inspire colleagues through their leadership, resilience and compassion.
