A leading care provider in Barnsley is seeking a passionate Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker. The role involves supporting children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) in a nurturing environment. Candidates must have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and a minimum of 1 year experience in an Ofsted-regulated setting with opportunities for career development and a supportive team atmosphere.
Job Title: Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Barnsley
Salary:: £27,519.96 to 28,128.36 base salary, with the potential to earn up to £32,919.96 to £33,528.36 with sleep-in shifts
Working Hours: 39 hours per week (flexible rota including weekends and bank holidays)
Number of Sleeps Required: 8–10 per month
Pay Per Sleep: £45 per night
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Young People aged 8–17 with EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties)
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Level 5 Diploma for qualified pay bracket.
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 1 year in a similar Ofsted-regulated setting
