Job summary

Sutton-based regional law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor with 5+ PQE to join its team in Sutton, Surrey. You will manage a varied property caseload with freedom and autonomy, handling sales, purchases, remortgages and Land Registry tasks.

The role offers hybrid and flexible working options, with a supportive culture and clear opportunities for progression within a long‑standing firm with strong local roots.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE in residential property
• Confident managing a full caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Commercially aware, organised and comfortable with case management systems
• Looking for a long‑term role with scope to develop your career

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential property caseload from instruction through to completion and post‑completion
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Oversee remortgages and transfers of equity
• Manage lease extensions and related matters
• Conduct first registrations and Land Registry work
• Build client relationships and support junior colleagues
