Job title: Senior Residential Property Lawyer

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

An established Top‑200 UK law firm is recruiting an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a busy, growth‑focused team. The firm combines the capability and resources of a larger practice with the approachability and collaborative culture of a smaller team and invests in technology to improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion and registration, including purchases, transfers and remortgages.
• Draft and review contracts, mortgage documentation and reports, supervise and mentor junior fee‑earners.
• Play an active role in business development by researching and cultivating referral sources and new client opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
• Excellent technical ability, drafting skills and commercial awareness.
• Proven business development experience, an established referral network or following (not an absolute requirement).
