Do you have experience within Residential Child Care working with children with learning disabilities or neurodivergence? Are you seeking an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Young People? Look no further!

Bridge2Future Care Group are on the lookout for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team within a specialist learning disability Children's Residential Home in the Burton-on-Trent DE14. The role will require working shifts on a rotational basis between the hours of 7.30am and 11pm, across a 7-day working week. There will also be a requirement to sleep in the home overnight, for which you would receive a sleep-in supplement of £70 per shift.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (Children and Young Peoples Workforce)
  • Some relevant experience in working with Children and Young People with complex needs
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that our Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
  • Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, safeguarding their welfare at all times.
  • Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures.
  • Attending to Young People's practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model.
  • Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
  • Completing written reports and documentation.
  • Shift lead a team of support workers.
  • Supporting and being involved with the reviewing of Care plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour Management Plans, Health Care Documentation, Agreements, and Incentives for the young people in the home.
