Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Senior Reservoir Geologist for a 6-month contract role in Crawley, with a negotiable daily rate (PAYE/PAYE Umbrella available). The position requires expertise in reservoir geology and the use of Petrel for static model construction.

The Senior Reservoir Geologist will support safe, efficient project delivery, collaborate with operations, and contribute to new technology adoption and tender assessments within the Oil & Gas sector.

Qualifications

• Experience with Petrel for static model construction.
• Knowledge of Middle East Geology is required with some experience on regional projects building static models.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support throughout Sales and Product and Service Delivery process.
• Assist with development of technical job designs.
• Identify areas for cost-effective techniques and value-added services.
• Engage with Design/Technical Engineer to optimize the technical design.
• Provide real-time incident support and investigation as related to the area of expertise.
• Evaluate technical viability and tender compliance for the area of expertise.
• Stay current on new technologies and participate in professional societies.
