Overview

The role This full-time fixed-term post offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic researcher with expertise, experience, and/or knowledge in health economic valuation techniques to apply their understanding to valuation studies in the area of measurement of child capabilities for economic evaluation. The post-holder will be situated in Health Economics and Health Economics (HEHP@Bristol) within Population Health Sciences, Bristol Medical School.

Fixed-term funding contract from 1 st January 2026 to 6 th June 2026. Full-time preferred, but part-time would be considered (minimum 3 days per week). Hybrid working is available - to be agreed. Interviews are likely to be held between 17 th and 28 th November.

What will you be doing?

This post will entail working on elements from a Wellcome funded Investigator Award (Principal Investigator: Joanna Coast) developing new ICECAP capability wellbeing measures for children and young people, with a particular focus on the valuation work for these new ICECAP measures, with an opportunity to contribute to both the design and analysis of valuation work.
