Job summary

University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Reporting Radiographers to join the dynamic reporting team at Westmorland General Hospital, Kendal. The role focuses on plain film reporting with a maximum of one day per week for clinical radiographer duties.

Training in radiographic reporting and development of advanced practice will be supported. The post requires Post Graduate training in imaging reporting, eligibility for UK professional registration, and the ability

Qualifications

• PGC in Advanced Medical Imaging and PGC in Fundamentals of Radiology Reporting completed.
• Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice - Plain film imaging or equivalent.
• Evidence of CPD.
• Experience in a wide range of radiographic techniques.
• Ability to lead small teams and teach others.

Responsibilities

• Report radiography examinations including Chest reporting and manage own caseload.
• Undertake own cases, interpret findings and feed back to the consultants.
• Contribute to education of radiography colleagues.
• Maintain ongoing audit of reporting practice for competence and accuracy.
