Job summary

the Collective seeks a Project Finance Manager to help scale our renewable investment listings for retail investors. You will originate and assess opportunities, design financial products, and provide senior financial analysis and mentorship to the team.

Ideal candidates will bring 6+ years in project finance within renewables or infrastructure, strong Excel modelling skills, and a commercial mindset to support investment decisions while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of project finance/transaction experience in Renewables/Infrastructure/Energy.
• Be a team player with the confidence to exercise judgement and engage with colleagues at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling using Excel.
• Understanding of valuation theories coupled with core accounting and tax skills and ability to read financial statements confidently.
• Commercial mindset with ability to own investment decision making and understand impact on retail opportunities.
• Ability to understand risks, balance probability and impact, and build risk mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrates high professional standards, sound judgement and accountability in decision-making.
• Project management and organisational skills with ability to manage complex workloads in fast-paced environments.
• Self-starter with tenacity and initiative to deliver results.
• Ability to communicate with and influence a broad range of stakeholders including Investment Committee members.
• Compliance with FCA and other regulatory frameworks and proficient use of data and AI-supported insights.

Responsibilities

• Scale the Collective and accelerate listing of renewable investments for retail investors.
• Originate, evaluate and execute new opportunities suitable for retail investors.
• Design financial products across renewables technologies for retail investors.
• Mentor team members and provide senior oversight, including financial analysis, valuations, and commercial terms.
