Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Principal Engineer to join our Renewable Energy Advisory team in the UK, supporting growth across power sectors from solar PV, wind, to storage and transmission. You will manage advisory services, drive innovation, and mentor engineers while engaging with clients and stakeholders.

The role requires significant renewables experience, a relevant engineering degree, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering experience in renewable generation projects & their integration.
• Degree or higher in engineering; professional qualification preferred.
• Chartered status or working towards it is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver technical advisory services across solar PV, wind, BESS, and grid integration.
• Manage multi-disciplinary project teams and coordinate across offices.
• Develop client relationships and prepare compelling proposals and reports.
• Contribute to thought leadership and best practices in renewables.
