Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Remedial Plumber to join a growing water hygiene team in London. You will have strong experience across remedial plumbing and complex water hygiene systems.

The role offers a competitive salary (£35,000–£45,000) and varied projects across commercial and domestic water systems, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Applicants should have NVQ L2 Plumbing or equivalent and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Remedial Plumber, ideally within water hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and domestic water systems.
• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing qualification or equivalent.
• Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage jobs effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out dead-leg removals and system alterations.
• Pipework modifications, repairs and upgrades.
• Remedial works to Cold Water Storage Tanks (CWST).
• Expansion vessel installation and remedial works.
• TMV/TMT replacements and associated plumbing.
• Tank cleaning, disinfection and system chlorination.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across water hygiene systems.

The Successful Senior Remedial Plumber Will Be Responsible For
